On Tuesday, I had my first meeting with Beach since dropping him him off at Hanover Shoe Farms in December

September 19, 2008:

Trained Beach today (Friday) in 2:05, scoped clean immediately following the trip. His white blood cell count is down and everything seems positive.

September 7, 2008:

We scoped Beach immediately following the race, concerned about his un-characteristically slow last quarter.

September 4, 2008:

Beach was real sharp and sound this morning, went a trip in around 1:56 with him, last half in :53. Just on air, felt awesome.
