Trained Beach today (Friday) in 2:05, scoped clean immediately following the trip. His white blood cell count is down and everything seems positive. We plan to head to Kentucky at the first of the week.

Best of luck to you ,the horse and paul.I am very impressed with paul's driving ,when he was in the stretch that fatefull day and was going to get beat ,paul did not whip his ass off. He knew he was going the best he could and there would be another day . My hat goes off to paul as one of the truly great drivers, who truly cares about his horses. Great choices by you as trainer,as per driver,the races to enter and not racing the piss out of this young horse when he was 2 and again this year . Hold your head up high and be proud of the way you,the ownership group and SBSW have have represented a an industry and a country so despartately in need of a figurehead and hero. I hope that all the so called "experts" that questioned your pre-planned sched. and had the gall to call you out on a wise decision to follow a set plan and schedule that you laid out for THE BEACH at the beginning of the year and not waver by going to the JUG also have the decency to admit that they should just shut up and enjoy the thrills and memories that are being created everytime you come to race this magnificent animal.

To keep a horse this good every start is an outstanding accomplishment. Your management skills are outstanding. I believe you manage the horse as an athlete, no different than any other sport.
