According to a report, the 10 gaming locations in the state of Pennsylvania surpassed New Jersey's Atlantic City casinos in terms of gross gaming revenue in a single month for the first time ever.

An article on pressofatlanticcity.com explains that during the month of November the PA locations took in a total of $245.8 million in November. The 11 AC casinos and hotels which offer gaming took in $245.1 during the same time period.

The report also explains that although PA made historic strides in November, the AC casinos and hotels remain ahead of PA in total gaming revenue for the first 11 months of 2011.
