Windsor, Ont. resident Jo-Dee Brown, a former trainer that is still active in the industry, is doing her part to bring some relief to the earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

An article by the Windsor Star explains that the 53-year-old will be spending her vacation in Haiti with other health care professionals doing their part in helping those in need.

Brown is scheduled to fly to the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, February 17 and then take a bus ride to Jacmel, roughly two hours from Port-au-Prince.

"The main trauma period is over now," she was quoted as saying. "This is going to be a lot of rehabilitation work. I expect to see a lot of infections, that kind of stuff."
