It has been reported that on Sunday, June 27 a substantial illegal gambling outfit was busted in Hong Kong.

According to an article by Info Tech Spotlight, a record total of 170 million worth of Hong Kong dollars (or roughly $21.8 million, U.S.) was seized in the operation which took online wagers on horse racing and soccer.

The report states that 19 men and six women were arrested in Hong Kong for engaging bookmaking and money-laundering offences. The article also states that 45 people were also taken into custody in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
