Hanover Raceway has announced that it will be holding an open house in the backstretch this Sunday (June 26) from noon until 4:00 p.m.

There will be a free BBQ with hot dogs, hamburgers and pop, as well as three learning stations.

Those in attendance will get a tour of the barns and the behind-the-scenes area during live racing. They will also meet trainer John Kennedy, who will talk about the equipment, health and training of standardbred horses, and they will have a chance to drive a horse on the racetrack with a professional driver.

People of all ages are welcome to attend. There will be parking in the backstretch across from Hallman Motors.
